Dr. Harry A. Lebowitz is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience and more than 20,000 surgical procedures. He earned his medical degree from George Washington University and completed his ophthalmology training at Columbia University and Yale University School of Medicine. His areas of expertise include cataract surgery using single vision and multifocal lenses, correction of astigmatism, and the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases such as diabetes and macular degeneration.
Dr. Lebowitz has held leadership roles including chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology for the Christiana Care Health System and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Christiana Hospital. An avid fly fisherman and technophile, Dr. Lebowitz enjoys international adventures with his family. His primary goal is the enhancement and preservation of his patients' vision, striving to meet and exceed their expectations through personalized, high-quality care.
