About Me
Dr. Hampton Khanna is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for children with a wide range of medical and surgical eye conditions. A native of Maryland, she attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She then pursued specialized fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Khanna’s practice focuses on pediatric strabismus, amblyopia, nasolacrimal duct obstruction, and retinopathy of prematurity. She works closely with families to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term visual goals in a clear and reassuring way. Her approach emphasizes early intervention, careful monitoring, and child-friendly communication so that young patients feel as comfortable as possible during their visits. Dr. Khanna is dedicated to helping children build and maintain healthy vision that supports their development at home, in school, and at play.
