About Me
Dr. Gregg Bannett is a board-certified ophthalmologist and founder of Bannett Eye Centers, providing expert eye care in South Jersey. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, he specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and dry eye, utilizing advanced small-incision phacoemulsification techniques. Dr. Bannett treats a full range of eye conditions, including diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, and performs comprehensive eye examinations.
Dr. Bannett completed his medical degree and rotating internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Geisinger Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship training in cataract surgery at Siepser EyeCare. He holds academic appointments at Wills Eye Hospital and Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine, training future ophthalmologists and primary care physicians.
