Meet Dr. George Reiss
About Me
Dr. George Reiss, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist providing advanced eye care in Arizona. He specializes in the evaluation, management, and surgical treatment of glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), as well as cataract evaluation and laser-assisted cataract surgery. Dr. Reiss has extensive experience with premium intraocular lens implants and is actively involved in clinical and surgical research to advance treatment options.
His dedication to innovation is demonstrated through his role as a clinical research investigator for emerging glaucoma devices and medications, contributing to safer and more effective therapies for patients worldwide. Dr. Reiss completed his medical education at Renaissance Medical School at Stony Brook, State University of New York, followed by a residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Illinois Eye Center in Chicago.
