Meet Dr. Frank Moya
About Me
Dr. Frank J. Moya is a glaucoma specialist and experienced cataract surgeon at Duke Health. He focuses on the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts, including combined procedures for patients who need both conditions addressed. Dr. Moya believes that patient care is a team effort and emphasizes clear communication, explaining eye conditions and treatments in simple terms to help patients understand their care.
With over a decade at Duke, Dr. Moya brings extensive experience in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and premium lens cataract surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and sees adult patients at Duke Eye Center of Winston-Salem.
Dr. Moya is fluent in Spanish, which helps him connect with Spanish-speaking patients. His research interests include the effects of aging on the eye and how that influences glaucoma diagnosis and treatment.
