Meet Dr. Francis Price
About Me
Dr. Francis Price is an ophthalmologist specializing in corneal disease and transplantation at Price Vision Group in Indianapolis. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University Medical School, where he also completed his residency in ophthalmology, followed by a fellowship in corneal and external eye disease at Tulane University. He is board-certified in ophthalmology and has established a nationally ranked cornea fellowship program.
Dr. Price provides comprehensive care for a range of corneal conditions, including Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus. He is recognized for his expertise in corneal transplantation, including Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) and Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK), as well as advanced refractive procedures such as LASIK and cataract surgery. He performed the first laser vision correction procedure in Indiana and has contributed to the advancement of LASIK through work with the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
