Dr. Felipe Andrade Medeiros is the Rodgers Endowed Professor of Ophthalmology and Vice Chair of Research at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He is a world-renowned clinician and surgeon who specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery, with patients seeking his expertise from around the world.
His research focuses on developing innovative methods for diagnosing and managing glaucoma, including the use of artificial intelligence for eye disease screening and monitoring. He has been a principal investigator in clinical trials that led to FDA-approved glaucoma treatments.
