About Me
Dr. Erik Ostler is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist who provides one-to-one care focused on protecting vision and quality of life. He works closely with patients to evaluate glaucoma risk, monitor optic nerve health, and discuss treatment options—from in-office laser procedures to surgical approaches when needed. He also treats cataracts, including complex cases, and helps patients understand how different technologies may fit their visual goals.
Dr. Ostler completed a fellowship at University Hospitals Case Western Reserve Medical Center, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and complex cataract surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Utah State University in mechanical and biomedical engineering. He prioritizes access, trust, and clear communication at every visit.
