About Me
Dr. Erik D. Skoog is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Spokane Eye Clinic. His practice focuses on the treatment of corneal and external eye diseases, refractive surgery, and small-incision cataract surgery. He provides care for conditions affecting the cornea and external structures of the eye, and offers surgical options such as PRK and cataract procedures to help patients improve their vision.
Dr. Skoog completed his medical education at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He went on to complete an internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Storm Eye Institute in Charleston, South Carolina, followed by a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Skoog joined Spokane Eye Clinic in 2002 and enjoys working with patients from all walks of life to help them see the world around them in greater detail.
