About Me
Dr. Eric S. Lee is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon with The Retina Group of Washington. He believes that healthy vision is essential to enjoying life to the fullest and finds great satisfaction in saving or maintaining sight, particularly for older patients whose physical activity may be limited.
Dr. Lee completed his medical education at Northwestern University, followed by an internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He then pursued a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the UCLA School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been recognized by his peers as a top ophthalmologist in the Washingtonian "Top Doctors" issue. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lee has been involved in numerous research projects and clinical trials, contributing to advancements in the treatment of retinal conditions.
