Dr. Ephraim Atwal

Dr. Ephraim Atwal is an ophthalmologist who specializes in laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK and PRK, as well as laser-assisted small incision cataract surgery with premium multifocal intraocular lenses. He also provides treatment and surgery for glaucoma and performs corneal surgery. Dr. Atwal is the Director of the Atwal Laser Vision Correction and Aesthetic facility located at 3095 Harlem Road in Cheektowaga, New York.

Dr. Atwal earned his medical degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He then completed a fellowship with renowned researcher Dr. Herbert Kaufman at Louisiana State University, an internship in internal medicine at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, and an ophthalmology residency at the Ochsner, Louisiana State University School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Atwal serves as the Medical Director of Eye and Tissue Services for ConnectLife.
