About Me
Dr. Elizabeth Baze is an associate professor of ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine and serves as deputy executive of the Eye Care Line at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Baze provides comprehensive ophthalmology care, with a particular focus on cataract surgery. She is dedicated to resident education and has received teaching awards including the Dan B. Jones Teaching Award. Her practice areas include the diagnosis and management of common eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome.
Dr. Baze completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, followed by an internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
