About Me
Dr. Donny W. Suh is a professor of ophthalmology at the UCI Gavin Herbert Eye Institute and serves as Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He provides specialized care for children and adults with strabismus (eye misalignment), amblyopia, and other pediatric eye conditions. His clinical expertise includes the management of strabismus, retinopathy of prematurity, and ocular trauma, as well as pediatric nasolacrimal duct obstruction and refractive errors.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Suh is actively involved in research and clinical trials focused on amblyopia treatment, exotropia therapy, and vision screening methods. He has led studies on topics ranging from pediatric cataract surgery to retinal hemorrhage in child abuse. He also participates in community outreach programs like the UCI EyeMobile, which provides vision screening to school children.
