Dr. Charlotte Gore

Dr. Charlotte Gore is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist at UCI Health who cares for children and adults with eye misalignment and other childhood eye conditions. Her clinical interests include amblyopia, congenital cataracts, nystagmus, and the full spectrum of pediatric eye care. She is experienced with adjustable-suture techniques for complex strabismus and provides thoughtful second opinions for challenging cases. Dr. Gore earned her medical degree at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at the Shiley Eye Institute, and pursued fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She speaks Mandarin and is active in research aimed at better understanding nystagmus and improving treatments for strabismus. Dr. Gore listens carefully, explains options in plain language, and partners with families to create care plans that support healthy vision at every stage of development.
