About Me
Dr. Denise S. Kim is an oculoplastic surgeon who specializes in orbital and ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery for adults and children. She evaluates and treats eyelid, tear-drain, and orbital conditions, offering both functional and reconstructive procedures designed to protect eye health while restoring comfort and appearance.
Dr. Kim completed medical school at the University of Michigan, followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in oculoplastics, orbital, and cosmetic surgery at Emory University. Her clinical work includes procedures for droopy eyelids and excess eyelid skin, eyelid malposition, tear drainage disorders, reconstruction after Mohs surgery for periocular skin cancer, and repair of eyelid and orbital trauma. She also provides medical and surgical care for thyroid eye disease (including therapy with Tepezza), as well as treatment for conditions such as blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm.
