About Me
Dr. Deepak Sambhara is a retina specialist at the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin. He completed a fellowship in medical retina and diseases of the vitreous cavity at Duke Eye Center, where he trained in cutting-edge angiographic techniques for managing retinal vascular diseases and novel drug design research for Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Sambhara is the founder and Medical Director of Research for the Eye Clinic’s clinical trial program, serving as the active principal investigator for several global trials for new treatments and technologies for retinal diseases. He has over a dozen publications in peer-reviewed journals and has received grants from the AAO to present at national meetings. Dr. Sambhara also serves as an oral-board examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.
