About Me

Dr. Deborah Lam is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle. She treats a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, ocular surface diseases, and eye trauma. Dr.

Lam earned her bachelor's and medical degrees from Northwestern University and completed her internship and residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She joined the faculty at UW Medicine's Department of Ophthalmology in 2008 and currently serves as Chief of Eye Care Services at the VA. Dr. Lam believes in developing a partnership with her patients in their care to address their individual needs.
