Dr. Anthony Chung

Dr. Brian Chou is a board-certified neuro-ophthalmologist who cares for adults with complex problems involving the visual pathways and eye movements. He evaluates patients with optic neuropathies, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, nystagmus, double vision and other neurologic conditions that affect how the eyes move and work together. Dr. Chou completed medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington Department of Ophthalmology. He then pursued fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of California, Los Angeles. In clinic, he focuses on listening carefully, explaining findings in clear language and partnering with patients to choose treatments that fit their goals and lifestyles. He performs strabismus surgery and botulinum toxin injections in addition to non-surgical care. Dr. Chou enjoys helping patients understand complex diagnoses and working with other specialists to provide coordinated, thoughtful care.

Dr. Miel Sundararajan is an ophthalmologist who specializes in uveitis, ocular inflammation and diseases of the cornea and ocular surface. She cares for patients with complex inflammatory eye disease, corneal scarring and other conditions affecting the front of the eye, as well as patients needing cataract evaluation and surgery. Dr. Sundararajan earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, completed an ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and went on to dual fellowship training in uveitis and in cornea at the University of California, San Francisco. She works closely with patients and their other physicians to diagnose the underlying causes of inflammation and to tailor long-term treatment plans that protect vision while minimizing side effects. Patients appreciate her careful examinations, clear explanations and collaborative approach. Dr. Sundararajan is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps people live more comfortably with chronic eye disease.

Dr. Karine Duarte Bojikian is a glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon who provides advanced medical and surgical eye care in Seattle. She cares for adults with all stages of glaucoma as well as patients needing cataract evaluation, cataract surgery and ongoing management of complex eye disease. Dr. Bojikian completed her medical education and ophthalmology residency at the Federal University of Sao Paulo Ophthalmology Clinic in Brazil, along with a glaucoma fellowship and a Ph.D. focused on ophthalmology. She later completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington and a glaucoma fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University, giving her broad experience with diverse patient populations and surgical techniques. Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, she values clear communication and culturally sensitive care. Patients often describe her as thorough, kind and collaborative. Dr. Bojikian strives to explain conditions and treatment options in an approachable way so that patients feel informed, empowered and supported.
