Dr. Dean Loporchio

Dean Loporchio, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon and medical retina specialist caring for patients with diseases of the macula, retina, and vitreous. A Rhode Island native, he enjoys educating patients about their condition and partnering on step-by-step plans that may include laser, injections, or surgery. Dr. Loporchio completed medical school at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, internship and ophthalmology residency at Brown University, and a surgical retina fellowship at Boston University.
