About Me
Dr. David Robert Fintak is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgical procedures. His practice is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of complex retinal conditions, including retinal detachments, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. Patients with these disorders can expect comprehensive care that may involve medical management, laser treatments, or vitreoretinal surgery.
In 2020, Dr. Fintak received the honor of being named a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor, a recognition that underscores his commitment to providing high-quality and patient-centered eye care. He completed his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. His postgraduate training includes an internship in ophthalmology at Albert Einstein Medical Center, a residency in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital, and a specialized fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at Washington University- St. Louis/Barnes Retina Institute.
Dr. Fintak has been a member of the Kaiser Permanente medical group since joining in 2009. He currently practices at the Franklin Medical Offices in Denver, Colorado, where he offers advanced retinal services as part of the Ophthalmology Department.
