Dr. David Leach

Dr. David Leach is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who founded the ClearView Eye Clinic in Moscow in 2001. He is widely recognized as a regional leader in laser vision correction and cataract surgery, with a reputation for exceptional bedside manner and a calming, upbeat demeanor that puts patients at ease. Dr. Leach's practice attracts patients from across Idaho, eastern Washington, and northwestern Oregon for second opinions, consultations, and surgical care.

Dr. Leach earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the same institution, where he was among the first residents in the state to perform laser vision correction. He maintains an active role in medical education as a Clinical Instructor with the University of Washington Department of Ophthalmology, where he mentors medical students. Dr. Leach also provides leadership to the Idaho Medical Association as a member of its Board of Directors and Executive Board.
