Dr. David Rosen

Dr. David Rosen is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Shepherd Eye Center in Las Vegas. He specializes in cataract surgery and eyelid surgery and provides thorough exams and ongoing care for common and complex conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Rosen studied physics at the University of Utah before earning his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix. He completed his internship at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas and his ophthalmology residency at Penn State Health in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

His academic interests include intraocular lens power calculations and refractive surgery, and he has authored multiple publications in these areas. In the clinic, patients can expect clear communication, practical education about their options, and a focus on safe, personalized outcomes. Outside of medicine, he enjoys rock climbing, traveling, and time with his family.
