Dr. Daniel Skufca

Dr. Daniel W. Skufca is an ophthalmologist at MUSC Health Ophthalmology Camden, where he provides comprehensive eye care for adults. He has a particular interest in cataract surgery and treats a wide range of conditions affecting the eyes.

Dr. Skufca earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Emory University before attending the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where he graduated with distinction. He completed an internal medicine internship and an ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health, during which he served as chief resident. He has been in practice in Camden, South Carolina since 2008.

His practice was acquired by MUSC, and he continues to serve the Midlands community. Dr. Skufca's approach emphasizes thorough, patient-centered care, addressing each patient's vision needs and helping them maintain eye health.
