Dr. Beau Bryan

Dr. Beau T. Bryan is a board-certified ophthalmologist who founded Bryan Eye Clinic in 2021 to provide the best medical and surgical eye care in South Carolina. He has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology in Columbia since 2014 and is committed to his patients, working collaboratively with other eye doctors and primary care physicians in the community. Dr. Bryan specializes in state-of-the-art cataract surgery, having performed thousands of procedures in the Midlands. He thoroughly evaluates each patient, customizing a plan based on the patient’s goals and lifestyle, and offers a wide range of advanced technologies and lens options to achieve glasses independence.

Dr. Bryan is an active fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and maintains his board certification through the American Board of Ophthalmology. He performs cataract surgery at the Palmetto Surgery Center, where he has served as president of the governing board. Known for his compassionate approach, Dr. Bryan offers prayer with every patient before cataract surgery, which he considers one of his greatest privileges. He is proud to have been named a 2022 Premier Physician by Columbia Metropolitan Magazine.
