Dr. Daniel Kurica

Dr. Daniel Kurica is an ophthalmologist who has been serving the River Parishes community at Aslett-Kurica Eye Center since 2009. Born and raised in LaPlace, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care to his hometown and surrounding areas. He completed his medical degree at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans and then went on to an internship in Internal Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Kurica then completed his ophthalmology residency through the LSU/Ochsner Ophthalmology training program, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Kurica offers a full spectrum of medical and surgical eye care, with particular expertise in cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and pediatric ophthalmology. He takes a conservative, compassionate, and meticulous approach to patient care, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to the individual. His practice includes routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and management of various eye conditions.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kurica enjoys playing golf and cheering for the LSU Tigers.
