About Me
Dr. Daniel Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery and corneal conditions. He is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist, offering a wide range of surgical and medical eye care. His practice focuses on routine and complex cataract surgery, including the use of advanced lens options such as astigmatism-correcting toric, multifocal, and light adjustable lenses. He also performs corneal transplantation techniques like PKP, DALK, DSEK, and DMEK, as well as laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK). Additionally, Dr. Lee manages conditions such as pterygium, dislocating intraocular lenses, and anterior segment trauma.
Dr. Lee discovered his passion for ophthalmology while working as an ophthalmic technician during college. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Oregon Health & Science University, where he specialized in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. He is committed to giving back to the community, volunteering with the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation and providing free cataract surgery to underserved patients in the Portland area.
