About Me
Dr. Daniel Gologorsky, MD, MBA is an ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal (retina) specialist at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he serves as Chief of the Division of Ophthalmology. He helps patients with a wide range of eye concerns, with special attention to conditions affecting the retina and vision-threatening changes that require careful diagnosis and timely treatment.
Dr. Gologorsky completed ophthalmology residency training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and then pursued vitreoretinal fellowship training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan. He earned his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School and later completed an MBA at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, focusing on healthcare and operations.
An author of peer-reviewed publications and the 2020 textbook “Principles of Ocular Imaging,” Dr. Gologorsky is known for a conservative approach—recommending surgery only when other options are not appropriate—and for taking time to explain choices in clear, practical language.
