About Me
Dr. Daniel Adelberg is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of diseases affecting the retina and vitreous. He received the Honor Award from the American Society of Retina Specialists for his career contributions. Dr. Adelberg has extensive expertise in managing conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, intraocular tumors, and uveitis.
He completed his ophthalmology residency at New York University Medical Center and a two-year retina and vitreous fellowship at Barnes Hospital of Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis. His research has been presented at national ophthalmologic meetings and published in medical journals, and he holds a patent for an innovation in ophthalmic surgery. Dr. Adelberg is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Adelberg's commitment to vision preservation and restoration is deeply personal, inspired by two family members who are blind from hereditary retinal degeneration. He lives in Scottsdale with his wife Sara-Jane and their three sons.
