Dr. Cynthia Deangelis

Dr. Cynthia L. DeAngelis is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist providing medical and surgical care for a range of eye conditions. She treats cataracts, dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy, and has a particular expertise in corneal surgery. Her surgical practice includes cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, corneal transplants, DSEK, LASIK, and PRK.

Dr. DeAngelis completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University and earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a fellowship in cornea and cataract surgery at the University of Connecticut. She serves as a clinical instructor of ophthalmology at Tufts New England Medical Center and has been an active partner at Tallman Eye Associates since 1993.
