About Me
Dr. Courtney Hellman serves as an Associate Professor within the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of retinal and vitreous disorders, as well as glaucoma. She provides care at the Truhlsen Eye Institute and the Truhlsen Eye Institute at Village Pointe.
Dr. Hellman earned her medical degree from UNMC, completed her ophthalmology residency at UNMC, and then pursued a fellowship in retina and glaucoma at the same institution. She also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder. With specialized training in both retina and glaucoma, she offers comprehensive eye care for patients in Omaha. Her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of conditions affecting the retina, macula, and vitreous, including diabetic eye disease and age-related macular degeneration.
