About Me
Cooper M. Clark, D.O. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in diseases and surgery of the vitreous and retina. He earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internship at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in 2008, followed by an ophthalmology residency where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Clark further advanced his expertise through a vitreo-retinal fellowship at Valley Retina Institute in McAllen, Texas, managing complex conditions like diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular degeneration, and retinopathy of prematurity.
Dr. Clark combines his surgical skills with a patient-centered philosophy, having performed hundreds of vitreo-retinal procedures during his training. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. In 2013, he joined Ophthalmology Associates of San Antonio to provide comprehensive retinal care.
Outside his practice, Dr. Clark is dedicated to physical fitness, regularly running in charity races, and is a certified scuba diver. He is an avid sports fan, supporting Ohio teams such as the Reds and Bengals.
