About Me
Dr. Connor Ericksen is a fellowship-trained retina specialist with Riverside Health who cares for patients with diseases of the retina and vitreous. He treats conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, and retinal detachment, offering both clinic-based therapies and advanced retina surgery. Patients often remark that he treats them like family and takes time to ensure they understand each step of their care.
Dr. Ericksen earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Ralph Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, followed by a surgical retina fellowship with Wolfe Eye Clinic/Wolfe Surgery Center in Iowa. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Throughout his training, Dr. Ericksen received multiple awards recognizing his service to the community and his compassionate care for patients and colleagues. He has volunteered his time to provide vision screenings and glaucoma evaluations for individuals with limited access to eye care. Outside of work, he enjoys an active life with his family, including biking, skiing, and staying active outdoors.
