About Me
Dr. Kori Elkins is a board-certified retina specialist with extensive experience in all aspects of retinal disease and retinal surgery. She recently relocated to Las Vegas to join Meadows Eye Physicians & Surgeons after serving thirteen years as the senior vitreoretinal surgeon at Tidewater Eye Centers in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Dr. Elkins completed her ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University and pursued a retina surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa, consistently ranked among the top ten ophthalmology training programs. She previously served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she taught ophthalmology residents and received the Ophthalmology Professor of the Year award. Her excellent patient care has been recognized through multiple Top Doc awards.
Dr. Elkins treats conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, providing comprehensive medical and surgical management. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them preserve and improve their vision through advanced retinal care.
