Dr. Christopher Weaver

Dr. Christopher D. Weaver is an ophthalmologist specializing in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He offers premium cataract lenses, including toric and multifocal options, to enhance patient vision. Dr. Weaver holds both an M.D. and a Master of Public Health, reflecting his commitment to comprehensive eye care and public health.

He completed his undergraduate degree at Quinnipiac University and earned a Master of Public Health from Dartmouth Medical School. His medical education was at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, followed by an internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital and residency at the University of Virginia. Dr. Weaver has received numerous awards, such as the Kenneth Tuck Award, Magna Cum Laude honors, and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies.

Outside of practice, Dr. Weaver lives in Crozet, Virginia with his wife and two daughters, and he enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, running, and biking. He currently sees patients at the Fishersville office, providing accessible eye care to the community.
