About Me
Dr. Andrew Collins is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care in Charlottesville, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency and internal medicine internship at the University of Virginia. He is a visiting clinical assistant professor at the University of Virginia and holds privileges at Martha Jefferson Hospital and Monticello Community Surgery Center.
Dr. Collins is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Medical Society of Virginia. His research includes a presentation on the Glaucoma Hemifield Test for anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. He is dedicated to the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye.
