Dr. Christopher Hood

Dr. Christopher Hood is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Michigan Health, where he focuses on the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of corneal and anterior segment conditions.

Dr. Hood's clinical expertise includes advanced cataract surgery with astigmatism-correcting lenses, corneal transplantation, and refractive procedures such as LASIK, LASEK, and PRK. He also manages dry eye disease, corneal infections, dystrophies, and tumors, providing both medical and surgical care for these conditions.
