Dr. Chris Albanis

Dr. Chris Albanis is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Chicago Arbor Eye Institute who is dedicated to educating her patients and their families about eye health. She completed her training at the University of Chicago and joined the practice in 2004. Dr. Albanis is motivated daily by the ability to give the gift of sight and prevent vision loss.

Dr. Albanis treats a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and blepharitis. She also performs refractive surgeries such as LASIK and refractive lens exchange. In addition to patient care, she serves as a Clinical Associate at the University of Chicago, where she teaches residents and has been recognized for her teaching excellence. Dr. Albanis is fluent in Greek and conversational Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population.
