About Me
Dr. Chris Bergstrom is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retinal diseases and ocular oncology. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Emory University, where he served as chief resident, and then remained at Emory for two years of subspecialty training in retina/vitreous and oncology. Dr. Bergstrom has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex retinal conditions and intraocular tumors, including intraocular melanoma.
During his career at Emory University, Dr. Bergstrom was actively involved in clinical trials, contributed to the literature with several publications, and gave numerous lectures. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the International Society of Ocular Oncology, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field and providing evidence-based care.
Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Bergstrom enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, boating, water sports, exercising, and traveling.
