About Me
Dr. Andrew Hendrick is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in retina and vitreous diseases. He joined the Emory Eye Center's section of Vitreoretinal Surgery and Diseases in 2012 and holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at the Emory University School of Medicine.
His clinical practice focuses on the medical and surgical management of retinal conditions, including retinal vein occlusions, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal detachments. Dr. Hendrick also diagnoses and treats urgent ocular ailments, providing comprehensive care for complex retinal disorders.
As a faculty member at Emory, Dr. Hendrick is involved in the training of residents and fellows. He is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
