About Me
Dr. Cheryl G. Cauthen has over 30 years of experience as a comprehensive ophthalmologist serving patients in Norfolk, Virginia. She provides diagnosis and treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Cauthen is an assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School and oversees residents in the retina clinic at the Veterans Medical Center in Hampton.
Dr. Cauthen also gives back to the community by providing free eye exams through local clinics and on mission trips to Haiti and Uganda. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
