Dr. Charles Duss

Dr. Charles V. Duss is a board-certified ophthalmologist serving the Jacksonville and St. Augustine communities at Atlantic Eye Institute. A Jacksonville native, he joined the practice in 2007 and specializes in advanced surgical procedures including LASIK, PRK, cataract surgery, and implantable contact lenses. His extensive training encompasses cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and plastic surgery techniques.

Dr. Duss completed his medical degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the AΩA Medical Honor Society. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey. He is an active investigator in clinical trials and has published research in his field.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Duss volunteers his surgical skills through Vision is Priceless and is heavily involved with the local March of Dimes chapter, drawing on personal experience as a father of premature twins to support families in the NICU.
