Dr. Michelle Diaz

Dr. Michelle L. Diaz is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained refractive surgeon who specializes in cataract surgery and LASIK laser vision correction. She provides comprehensive eye care and treats conditions such as glaucoma, helping patients achieve clearer vision through advanced surgical techniques and personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Diaz earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed her internship in internal medicine and ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, where she also served as chief resident. Her research during training focused on complex cataract cases, LASIK wound healing, and refractive surgery outcomes, and she has presented her work at national meetings.

Dr. Diaz is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
