Dr. Charles Maddux

Dr. Charles Maddux is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon with a special interest in cataract surgery and refractive lens solutions to reduce dependence on glasses. He also offers minimally invasive glaucoma procedures and performs a range of in-office and operative laser treatments. His practice includes medical management of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration and minor eyelid surgery, and he emphasizes careful counseling so every plan aligns with a patient’s visual goals.

Dr. Maddux graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, completed an internship at Loyola University Medical Center, and completed ophthalmology residency with Loma Linda University Health, where he gained experience across academic, VA, and county hospital settings. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
