Dr. Casey Geringer

Dr. Casey Geringer is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist at West Georgia Eye Care Center, where she has been serving patients since September 2016. She provides expert care for a range of eye conditions, with a particular focus on glaucoma management and treatment.

Dr. Geringer completed her medical education at the Osteopathic Medical Center at Des Moines University, where she ranked fourth in her class. She then undertook an ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship at Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, during which she served as chief resident and received the David Barsky Resident Research Award.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Geringer is actively involved in research and has authored publications on the medical management of glaucoma. She is affiliated with professional associations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and participates in community vision screenings and wellness programs.
