About Me
Dr. Carola B. Okogbaa is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing comprehensive eye care and surgery in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas since 2013. She specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery, and she diagnoses and treats a wide range of eye conditions, including diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome.
She completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Florida and earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. After a year of internal medicine training at Scott and White Memorial Hospital, she pursued her ophthalmology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Okogbaa is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Okogbaa is dedicated to her patients and stays at the forefront of eye care technology. She and her team are committed to helping patients achieve their best vision, whether through surgery, glasses, contact lenses, or dry eye treatments.
