About Me
Dr. Carl Noble is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon with extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of retinal disease. He cares for adults with epiretinal membranes, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, and complicated retinal detachments. He also handles secondary intraocular lens problems, ocular trauma, and complex issues following cataract surgery. Patients know him for meticulous technique, careful counseling, and a team-based approach that aims to protect and restore vision.Dr. Noble earned his BS at The Ohio State University and his medical degree at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After an internship at Walter Reed Medical Center, he served as a Navy physician and Marine Corps aviator, and completed an MBA at the University of California, San Diego. He returned to ophthalmology for residency at George Washington University, where he was Chief Resident, followed by vitreoretinal surgery fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Eye Institute. He now cares for patients in Longmont and surrounding communities.
