Dr. Bryan Brooks

Dr. Brooks is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in small incision cataract extraction with lens implant, laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK), and the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. He also performs laser surgery, diagnoses and treats diabetic diseases of the eye, and has a special interest in advanced technology lens implants to reduce patients' need for glasses after cataract surgery. In addition, he provides routine comprehensive examinations and manages a wide range of ocular diseases.

Dr. Brooks is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Virginia Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons, and the Richmond Academy of Medicine. He holds hospital privileges at Stony Point Surgery Center and has volunteered his ophthalmic care services at the Crossover Ministries Clinic in Richmond, Virginia. He previously served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy.
