About Me
Dr. Bryan Riggeal is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology. He chose this specialty out of a passion for helping patients suffering from neurologic diseases, finding it particularly rewarding to provide answers and treatment to those who have gone without adequate diagnosis. His compassionate and patient demeanor supports his skill in diagnosing complex conditions such as optic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, double vision, and a range of other neurologic disorders.
Born in Winter Haven, Florida, Dr. Riggeal earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he also served as a chief resident in the Department of Neurology. He completed his neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, actively contributing to the education of residents in neurology, neurosurgery, and ophthalmology. After training, he practiced for four years near Atlanta with his wife, Dr. Candice Riggeal, before moving to Jacksonville in 2016 to be closer to family.
In his practice, Dr. Riggeal believes that a detail-oriented approach is crucial for accurate diagnosis, especially since neurologic conditions can profoundly impact patients and their families. He is committed to delivering comprehensive and compassionate care, ensuring each patient receives the attention and understanding they need.
