Dr. Garruto is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina and cornea conditions. He provides comprehensive care for a range of retinal diseases including diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He also treats corneal conditions such as dry eyes, conjunctivitis, keratitis, and performs procedures including collagen cross-linking and corneal transplants. Additionally, Dr. Garruto offers blepharoplasty to repair droopy eyelids.
Dr. Garruto completed fellowship training in medical retina and cornea. He practices at Newsom Eye in Tampa, Florida, where he applies his advanced training to diagnose and manage complex eye conditions.
