Dr. Brian Desmond

Dr. Brian Desmond is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience serving patients in Central Oregon. As the lead physician at OnSight Eye Center, he specializes in cataract surgery and advanced lens replacement procedures, having successfully performed more than 10,000 cataract surgeries.

Dr. Desmond earned his medical degree at the University of Utah and completed specialized eye surgery training at UC San Diego's Shiley Eye Institute. He also has experience volunteering in remote Guatemala, providing eye care to underserved communities. Dr. Desmond takes a personalized approach to patient care, taking time to understand each individual's vision goals and crafting treatment plans tailored to their needs. He maintains a consistent team to ensure continuity of care from the initial visit through surgery and follow-up.
